Designed aboard the Legend of the Seas, the lighting design for CrazeeHorse took the viewers through a range of emotions from dark and moody through to amped up and awed.

Lighting design and aerial rigging were both performed by Michael Calder and included a range of structural modifications to the forestage apron owing to the lack of an existing winch performer flying point aboard the ship.



A reception by the pool has a range of unique challenges. The brief from the client was for the stage to be on the water. This event was taken from brief through to conclusion by Michael Calder, including stage design, safety and risk assessments, and lighting and av design. There were a number of unique challenges - this was the first event held in the pool area, there were only 4 hours to bump in the show, as well as the nature of building a structure requiring power inside a body of water.
